I circumnavigated the world
I was in a record-breaking 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on one of eleven 70-foot ocean racing yachts, which left the UK on 3 September 2023, returning 11 months later in July 2024 after reaching every continent bar Antarctica, and completing 6 ocean crossings.
This was the Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race.

What I did
In 2023-24, I spent 11 months at sea in a crew of around 20 at any one time, on a 70ft yacht, as part of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Leading up to, during, and after the race, I have shared my journey and lessons learnt, including:
the importance of living for today and going beyond your comfort zone
the value of learning new things and achievement - individually and as a team
the critical need to protect our oceans, and
the remarkable stories of our people and planet.
